Singapore Singapore is both an island and a country, located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. Singapore City, known as the Lion City, the name of the city is derived from the Malay words “singa” which means "lion" and “pura” which means "city". The city ranked first in Asia and eleventh in the world for quality of life by the economists. Singapore has something for everyone, from families to business travelers.! Its people are made of Chinese (76.8%), Malay (13.9%), Indian (7.9%) and other races. This diversity also translates into a unique mix of religions, languages, cultural traditions and cuisines.!

Singapore Introduction

Weather Singapore is generally hot and humid year round, with the temperature almost never dropping below 20°C (68°F), even at night, and usually climbing to 30°C (86°F) during the day. However, most buildings are air-conditioned, thus you may want to bring along a sweater! December is in the rainy season so do bring an umbrella!! For those who enjoy the sun and the beach, Singapore is an ideal place for beach lovers, as you get the hot sun throughout the year. So when you're in Singapore, don’t forget to bring along your beach attire!!
