INDICATIVE DISPLAY PROFILE

An automotive plant is a highly collaborative place where different subsystems work in perfect tandem. AES has allowed manufacturing technology players to display solutions, which are very relevant and are accessible to the people who actually need them. When it first started in 2007, there was no show on the horizon which talked specifically about manufacturing technologies for the automotive sector. It has taken 5 years to establish the platform and now it is widely recognized as a credible platform.

ENCOURAGING INNOVATION The Awards function instituted by the Automotive Engineering Show is instrumental in bringing in tremendous enthusiasm to plant personnel. Being recognized for innovative ideas, they go allout to show their talent through case studies, which are judged by an august Jury comprising the who’s who in the Industry. Interaction takes place at the highest, lowest and middle levels.

RECOGNISING THE ROLE OF LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS

AES has consistently tried to highlight the role of industry associations, whether in Pune or Chennai. This has helped the industry to have a better understanding of the local associations, their exact mandate and the key people who could drive future changes.

WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED?.

A CREDIBLE PLATFORM FOR IDEA EXCHANGE

SUB-EVENTS

METROLOGY THEME SHOW Every field of industry has its set of requirements. Measurement processes in the automotive industry are vital since failure of the surveillance process may result in recall of thousands of vehicles.

PRESENTATION Every participant will have a complementary 25minute’s presentation session at the Technology Exchange area within the exhibition where preinvited attendees will join them with their question and challenges faced in their plants. The invitation program will be undertaken by the organizer to the exhibitor’s customers. AUDIENCE PROFILE Manufacturing, Quality Control, Production, Tooling and Maintenance professionals will have the opportunity to explore the potential for advanced application of dimensional metrology to increase production quality and throughput.

How do metrological requirements meet such needs for technical and cost performance? How to define what is ‘just necessary’? How such new technical and economic challenges ‘drive’ the new features of modern metrology? How the current frames of reference used need to be adjusted to include these new trends? What new requirements are to be taken into account? TOPICS • • • • • • • • •
