IN A GONDOLA (JANE DE GLEHN) 1856, 44'4 x 31'75, Watercolor on Paper John Singer Sargent 12 January 1856 – 14 April 1925 Sargent was an American artist, considered the "leading portrait painter of his generation" for his evocations of Edwardian era luxury. In a time when the art world focused on Impressionism, Fauvism, and Cubism, Sargent practiced his own form of Realism, which made brilliant references to Velåzquez, Van Dyck, and Gainsborough. His works have been the subject of large-scale exhibitions in major museums, including a retrospective exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1986, and a 1999 "blockbuster" travelling show that exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the National Gallery of Art Washington, and the National Gallery, London.

PAYSAGE DES ENVIRONS D'ARGENSON A ANSIERES 1865, 81 X 59.5 cm, Oil on Canvas Paul Cézanne 19 January 1839, 22 October 1906 Cézanne was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th century conception of artistic endeavour to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. Cézanne can be said to be most influential artists of the 19th century, and the artists who formed the bridge between late 19th century Impressionism and the early 20th century's new line of artistic enquiry, Cubism. The line attributed to both Matisse and Picasso that Cézanne "is the father of us all" cannot be easily dismissed.

VENETIAN PALACE

Foc Group Portfolio 2012

VENETIAN PALACE circa 1661, renovated in 1821-1842 Venice is undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man. Each of its buildings is a work of art, with their beauty enhanced when reflected on the canals that cross the city. Its magical scenery is fascinating and breathtaking at first sight, evoking the feeling of entering the setting of a reallife fairy tale. It's perhaps even unfair to all other cities to call Venice a city, as it is a place unlike any other, that no other can compare to, or ever be like. Palazzio Zambelli is based in a building from the first half of the XV Century. The palace is currently owned by the Venice University of Architecture (IUAV), and is utilized as its central library. The palace can be turned into an hotel or private residency with 36 or 39 rooms. The price includes the renovation costs.
