What is it? Peer Mentoring Training gives people the skills and knowledge to be a quality mentor and to make a real difference to people’s lives. Who is it for? Ideal for young people in schools or adults involved in community programmes. How does it work? A one day workshop for between 10 and 20 people delivered by a qualified mentor at a suitable venue, topics include Introduction to Mentoring, The Foundations of Mentoring, Good Mentoring Practice and Great Mentoring Skills How much will it cost? The cost is £50 per participant. If there are less than 10 participants the cost is £500. What are the benefits? While Peer Mentoring can provide valuable support for people at critical points in their life, it offers a host of other benefits for both mentor and mentee. Peer mentoring is a mutual way of learning and allowing both participants to develop transferable skills that will help them during their mentoring relationship and beyond.
