Modem Lights and Browsing The Power, DS, US, Link, Online lights are all on the modem but I am unable to browse? The network card might have been disabled or in the case where a router is being used it might need to be reset. The router can be reset with either the reset button at the back of the modem or by unplugging it from the AC (JPS) power supply. Unplugging from the power supply will ensure that the settings are unchanged. I am unable to browse; only the Power and the DS lights are on the modem. The coaxial cable might not be properly screwed on to the modem or there might be some interference on the cable leading into the premises.

Connecting Computers to the Internet I have a switch connected to my Flow modem but I am only able to connect with two computers at a time. Flow's Standard modem only issues one (1) public IP address to the first two devices connected to it. Any other device plugged into the switch will not receive an IP. To connect more than one device at a time a dedicated Router or Flow's Router/Modem (552G/652G) is needed. I have a switch connected to my modem but I am only able to connect with one PC The Standard modem 'remembers' the first two devices connected to it and will only allow access to these devices. It is likely that the modem is 'remembering' a previous device that was plugged into it and therefore refusing to issue an IP to a 3rd device. Reset the modem to clear its memory. I have more than 2 computers, what Is the best device to use to connect them to the internet simultaneously? A router or Flow's Router/Modem (552G/652G) will allow multiple simultaneous connections to the Internet. Is the Flow standard (502G/602G) modem equipped with a firewall? No, and any device connected to it receives public IP addresses, therefore the protection of the devices connected to the modem is the responsibility of the customer. A software firewall can be installed on the PCs. How do I access the Flow standard (502G/602G) modem's configuration page? The 502G/602G modem is not a router, it is a bridge. Therefore there is no configuration page available for customers to access. The modem's sole responsibility is to issue IP addresses therefore no further configuration is possible. When I access the Internet using a wireless router my service Is Intermittent. There might be interference from other wireless devices, such as phones, remotes, video games etc. Change the wireless channel on the router, the highest channel on most routers being 11.
