Garden Inspired Plants are known to evoke happy feelings, and bring a freshness to the home

I

nspiration for the project came from a wreath that was gifted to me by a neighbor. It reminded me of summertime and the easy-going feelings that come along with that time of year. It was also reminiscent of a garden scene. I decided to deconstruct the wreath and use the parts to create a feature wall on the patio. After starting the feature wall it was apparent that the rest of the patio was not up to par; as spring had just rolled in and the space was still littered with debris from the winter. The next step was to cleanse the patio as well as the existing furniture to start with a clean slate. Though the view from the patio was decent for a city apartment, I decided to

enhance it by including berry vines which were wrapped around the rails. Additionally, a rolling cart was incorporated instead of a table, to ensure that movement within the space wasn’t stifled.

It was important to make the transition between the patio and living room seamless.

Amazingly, the wall color in the living room was the same tone as the peony flowers incorporated in the patio design! Just as with the It was important to incorporate patio, a huge goal for this space was the original pieces of inspiration, to ensure that movement was free so scenery was created in a corner flowing; so small folding tables were of the patio. This feature included used. The tables acted as a coffee tabold peony florals, birds of tropible and could be folded away in the cal colors, iridescent bottles and a woven sun hat which was the base of event that company was entertained. This design is proof that small spaces the original wreath. Altogether the can be comfortable, beautiful and scenes purpose was to capture the naturally beautiful elements within a functional. garden as well as the things we enjoy while resting under the sun on a beautiful day (such as cold drinks).

Organization + Education = Success

TESTOMONIAL “As a classroom teacher, there is not enough time to devote to the oraganization of a classroom with 25 or so other bodies in the classroom. My classroom was a mess and by the end of this school year, I was beyond exhausted to even deal with it. I was just going to spend my summer days coming in the straighten up the mess the students and I created. About a week before it was summer vacation, Ashley came into my whirlwind of mess and turned it into the most organized and labeled space I had seen the classroom in my 5 years in the classroom. She did it in roughly 4 days. Ashley did an AMAZING job labeling, throwing out useless things, and organizing my now WONDERFUL classroom.

Classroom Organization • (Goal) The overall goal was to help my daughters teacher, Ms. Russell regain control of her classroom. • (Motivation) I personally saw the disorganization when visiting and Ms. Russell often spoke of her issues that stemmed from disorganization. • (The System) After observing how both Ms. Russell and the children interacted within the classroom environment, I was able to see where the shortcomings and strengths were in the classroom setup (structure). Initially it seemed that there was a lack of storage because there were multiple areas housing piles of papers, supplies and a host of other hodge-podge items. After investigating I learned that there was sufficient storage space;

so I went to work! I started with the Process clutter that was out in the open and worked my way to the closets, bins and other hidden places (where clut- 1. Items that were unable to be used were donated to other teachers or the media center and all broken/dysfunctional items were trashed. Once I had like groups to work with I implemented easy to understand systems. This was important due to the fact that Ms. Russell coached her students to be independent; meaning they would have their hand in ensuring that the new systems were followed properly.

Ms. Russell and her students graciously relinquished their classroom to me and I was honored by their trust.

Property Staging ‘Staging is proven to increase buyer interest, and decrease time on the market ” - Ashley Williams

The purpose of property staging is to ensure that sellers, lessors and their agents are equipped to do exactly what we all desire; make profits quickly. A well known fact is that we all want to make our money as such; as much as possible, quickly as possible. When our efforts don’t produce the aforementioned results, it’s inevitable that we lose time and money. 12
