Darell Bowen of Bodis Realty Inc. is a long-time leader in the local real estate market, as well as the community. After being away from the industry a decade, he recently returned to real estate, where he has found great success with his new firm. Bowen began his real-estate career in 1985 as a co-owner of the Re/Max franchise in Wellington. Two years later he opened his own firm, Bowen Realty Inc., which was highly successful throughout the county. “Bowen Realty Inc. grew to six offices with 170 agents throughout Palm Beach County,” Bowen said. “In 2001, I sold that business to Illustrated Properties.” In the ensuing years, Bowen made a name for himself with his new business, Creative Marketing Products Inc. He also delved into local government, serving as president of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce and mayor of Wellington, a position he held for two terms. Now, Bowen has returned to his real-estate roots with the founding of Bodis Realty Inc., which has offices in both Wellington and West Palm Beach. Bowen and his wife, Sherry, founded the company in 2011. “Our offices are full service, having affiliations with Waterstone Mortgage Corporation, which provides lending services, and Universal Land Title, which provides title and closing services,” Bowen said.
