Triple Crown’s Melanie Blonshine Helps Families Settle In Wellington Story by Matthew Auerbach • Photo by Abner Pedraza

Melanie Blonshine of Triple Crown Properties is a relative newcomer to the real estate world. She has been an agent for less than a year, but as a wife and mother of one son, she finds that her personal life seamlessly supports her professional endeavors. “I feel I identify most with families that are like my own, who were motivated to move to Wellington because of what they have heard about how amazing the public schools are here,” Blonshine said. “Our housing communities are beautiful, clean and convenient. I live in one of these communities, and my family is thriving. I believe my passion as a Wellington resident overflows to my clients who want to move here.” After leaving behind a lucrative catering career, Blonshine, husband Kevin and son Wyatt made the move to Florida in 2011 and found themselves in Wellington five years later. “It was the best decision we could have made,” she said. “Wyatt is thriving at Binks Forest Elementary School. I am also thrilled to be part of the active tennis community in Wellington, where I play competitively for the Wanderers Club, which is right down the street from our home.” Blonshine draws from her life experiences to become a more seasoned Realtor. “I think what makes me personally different from other Realtors in Wellington is that I choose to focus all of my efforts on helping families with children find their new home in what I believe is the best place to live in South Florida,” Blonshine said. Her job provides her with a balance that is beneficial in all the important areas. “Real estate has become a great asset for my family, as it has allowed me to have a more flexible schedule, so I can choose to focus my time with those families whose needs I know I can best fulfill,” she said. Triple Crown Properties is one arm of the Triple Crown Group, which consists of three different specialties: real estate, property management and construction. Blonshine believes that trio of services separates her company from the pack. “As a company, we excel in educating clients on construction and renovation cost estimates, which allows them to make educated decisions when they are buying or selling a home with us,” she said. “When our real estate clients find that they are ready to renovate or even build a new home, they have the peace of mind knowing they don’t have to research and hire another company. They can rely

on the Triple Crown team for all of their future needs.” While she credits the equestrian community and the athletic programs at Village Park as two of Wellington’s main drawing points to those considering a move here, she is also thankful for a time-honored activity that gives the community its hometown feel. “I would have to say how proud I am, thanks to our crossing guards and the Palm Beach County School Board, to see how many school children walk or ride their bikes to school,” Blonshine said. “I know it’s such a simple thing, but it gives me comfort to live in a community that still preserves some of the simple things in life that are now unimaginable or forgotten in other cities and towns.” To contact Melanie Blonshine, call (202) 297-5584, e-mail triple crownmelanie@gmail.com or visit www.triplecrownflorida.com. wellington the magazine | may 2019
