Congratulations to the four young men who brought home a gold metal for their school. These young men were the favorite to win, and win they did. There were several athletes who placed and brought home the banner for the first time since 1997. Congratulations!! Congratulations to Jordon McKenzie for winning the Cheese Day button design. Make sure you purchase a button of this young artist's work.

Tess from the Toledo Senior Center would like to thank all the Fathers and Daughters who turned out for the evening. It was a huge success. There have been a few scammers on the FB page for the City of Toledo trying to rent a home that doesn’t exist. With very few rentals in the area, this is something we are seeing in different areas. Never give money to someone you don’t know or have not met. Be safe and careful. Toledo’s Thursday Market is the bomb! If you have not been or haven’t been in a while, it’s a fun time to go. I was down there a few weeks ago, ran into Laura and Bob Cohen and their cute little fur babies. We laughed so much. Laura and Bob have also been involved in the bio-sludge issue. Thank you for all you do! There are four men in Toledo who have signed up to be Precinct Committee Officers come November. These four have helped the community on several different levels. Thank you Dale Merten, Jim Wallace, Dave Germain and Michael Messmore for signing up.
