MOVE-IN DAY - AUGUST 24, 2013 w CHECK-IN TIMES BY RESIDENCE HALL

The Move-In Day schedule varies depending on your assigned residence hall. Room assignments will be available at myflagler.edu/residencelife not later than August 1. You may arrive any time during the two-hour time period listed below. However, after unloading, please move all vehicles from the parking lots to make room for other students moving in.

Check-in at FEC Lobby on the 1st floor. Parking in the lot on Malaga Street adjacent to the FEC towers.

MOVE-IN ACTIVITIES – All Boarding Students

IDENTIFICATION CARDS Students MUST have their Flagler College Identification Card produced.

Ringhaver Student Center

PARENTS SOCIAL All incoming Flagler parents are invited to an afternoon social while their students attend their Orientation Group Meetings. This is an opportunity to network with other Flagler parents and to meet the administration.

West Lawn

STUDENT ACCOUNTS MEETINGS Students and parents will have time to meet with Student Accounts to address any issues or concerns with their financial status.

PARENT ORIENTATION - GROUP 1 There are two identical parent orientation sessions scheduled today, pick one. This is an opportunity for parents to hear from the administration about the College in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

PARENT ORIENTATION - GROUP 2 This is an identical parent orientation session as in the morning. This is an opportunity for parents to hear from the administration about the College in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

DINNER AND FINAL ROOM VISITS The administration will be available to answer any additional questions and there will be an opportunity to make one last trip to your students room before coming to dinner.

Sessions are in the Proctor Library and assigned by groups. Group assignment will be given out at the All Student Meeting on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Academic Sessions =

Incoming students will be assigned to a specific academic session where full-time faculty will lead discussions on various topics including the summer reading, transitioning to college, and expectation of college level work.

Legacy Workshops = Incoming students are invited to these optional workshops which are designed to assist the students with transitioning to college and feeling secure in their new environment. Social Events = Incoming students are invited to all the social events during the week. The purpose of the events are to facilitate interaction with other new students in a fun and exciting setting.
