gifts of hope MISSIONS FAIR

On Sunday, November 6, from 9 to 12 the Missions Committee will hold a missions fair in the halls near the Parlor. The event started last year and the idea grew out of a church-wide study that our congregation participated in called “Christmas Is Not Your Birthday.” We have invited mission minded groups from our community and church to participate. We will set up tables and representatives will be available to provide information about their ministry. Adopt-a-School Baked Blessings, FUMC Block Party, FUMC Church Party, FUMC Communities of Transformation Dothan Rescue Mission

These are some wonderful ministries that spread the gospel of Jesus and the making of disciples in many different ways. Our goal is for you to have the opportunity to volunteer, make donations, and to learn about the many ways that our church and community reach out for Christ. You may make donations in memory of or in honor of a loved one. What a special way to create a memory right here at home. Some of the groups invited include:

We will leave the CLC at 11:00, ride the bus to the fairgrounds, and return to the church around 3:00.
