“Strange as it seems, there’s been a run of crazy dreams…” Our youth choirs are hard at work on their second production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which will be presented in Harper Chapel Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 18, 19, and 20. The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Thirty-five middle and high schoolers, plus one slightly older grandfather, will gather to tell the story of Joseph and his incredible journey from spoiled bragger to governor of Egypt. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. Tickets are now available in The Vineyard bookstore: $15 for Adults, $5 for Students. Come support our Youth Choirs! Proceeds will benefit the FPC Music & Arts Activity Fund.
