Members and visitors: a nursery available for children newborn through age 4. The nursery is staffed Sunday mornings during and between services, and on Wednesday evenings during service and programming. Please bring your diaper bag. It will also be staffed during some church events and will be advertised as such when available. We hope you take advantage of our services while here at First.
For Gundersen: be sure to alert the hospital of your church affiliation when they ask and they will then release your room number to us when we call. For Mayo/Franciscan Healthcare: it is important that you or a family member to contact us directly at the church office: 783-2236. Mayo no longer gives out that information. Please make every effort to keep food and beverages in the narthex. Thanks!

WEL COME VISITORS & GUEST S!
We a t F i r s t L u t h e r a n a r e g l a d y o u h a v e c h o s e n t o w o r s h i p w i t h u s t o d a y ! We understand that visiting a church can be overwhelming as everything is unfamiliar and unknown. Please know that all the baptized are welcome to fully participate in worship, including Holy Communion. If this is your first time at First, we’d love to have you stop at the Connecting Point table in the narthex entry where you may choose to ask questions, share your contact information and receive a gift from us. We hope worshiping with us today will bless you as much as your visit blesses us! PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE Please take time before worship & go to the narthex to write down any prayers you want to lift up, so we can be certain to include them in worship today! COMMUNION CARDS Communion cards are not required to participate in Holy Communion, but they help us know who is worshiping with us. Please fill one out and hand it to an usher just before Communion, or place it in an offering plate. Thanks!
Wedding blessings are extended to Elizabeth Kramer & Benjamin Smaby
A new bicycling group called the “First” Flyers starts Wednesday, June 4. The group is for both men and women and will be led by Pastor Ted Dewald. The group will gather at 10 am every Wednesday at First Lutheran for a 10- to 15-mile bike ride, traveling at 10 to 15 mph. The first outing will be on the Great River Trail. There will be a new route each week. Pump up those tires, put on your helmet, bring a water bottle and hit the road during the summer. Have fun, meet new people, stay in shape and pass the word. If you have questions, call Pastor Ted at 780-3643. Flowers in the sanctuary are in honor of Pastor Merill Otto Herder to mark the 60th anniversary of his ordination on June 6, 1954, from his family
The Sunshine boys meet the first Thursday and Friday of each month; the next meeting times are June 5 and 6 at 9am. Sunshine Boys help with outdoor or indoor projects. Rolls and coffee are supplied to replenish your reserves! Pick the day that works for you, and come both days if you feel so inclined!

YOUNG YOUTH TO WI DELLS!
The young youth will go to Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin Dells on Friday, June 13. The park is open from 10am-6pm. Noah’s Ark provides “Youth Days” for groups at a really reasonable price. The cost is $18.50 plus tax for admission and a hot dog lunch. Everyone, regardless of age, is the same cost. Even though this is a youth event, it will be more like a family outing. If there’s a child who absolutely can’t have an adult come with them, let Katie Everson know (email@example.com), and we will work it out. We want everyone who would like to come to be able to participate.
