Or will you allow God to lead the way? The answer should be obvious. You should let God be your guide. When you entrust your life to Him completely and without reservation, God will give you the strength to meet any challenge, the courage to face any trial, and the wisdom to live in His righteousness. So trust Him today and seek His guidance. When you do, your character will most certainly take care of itself, and your next step will most assuredly be the right one. God’s plan for our guidance is for us to grow gradually in wisdom before we get to the crossroads. We must always invite Jesus to be the navigator of our plans, desires, wills, and emotions, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.

We went to sunny San Diego, CA. After a long and very early flight, we participated in mission work and worship and praise sessions with other Congregational churches across the country. We did demolition and rebuilt an inner city pastor’s home. We added landscaping to an inner city park as well as cleaned one up. Our very own Eric Cooper was part of the planning team this past year and Trevor Titsworth will assume the position for our next retreat, which will be out our back door in Cleveland. This mission trip is our youth that have completed 8th through 12th grade (NAPF) and college age through 26 years (HOPE). Thank you for supporting our youth! Zena Cole – Paralympics Medal Winner by Matt Wiitalla
We had the opportunity to help bless Zena, who has risen above her circumstances with courage, determination, perseverance, and resilience, with a new ramp to help access her home in Napoleon. For this build, we worked with the ability center construction supervisor who guided us in the process and donated the actual pieces of the ramp. Zena says thank you and sends her appreciate to everyone!
UTMC Stuffed Animal Drive Our drive earlier this year was a huge success. UTMC was completely out of animals and so very thankful for our offering in support of: adults, teens, kids coming into their ER. The stuffed animals are given out to help ease anxiety and provide comfort.
Era Blakney Era continues to be the hands and feet of the Lord. She worked the SewHope 2018 LEAP Event (their annual fundraiser) and has been devoted and passionate in supporting the mission. SewHope raises awareness and supports health and wellness in Guatemala. “Love Ends All Poverty”
Eli & Lizzie Edwards, CRU Eli and Lizzie are a newly married couple serving with Cru at the campus of Bowling Green State University. Their hearts are to reach all corners of their college campus with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that every student would have the opportunity to hear the message of the love of Christ. We have supported their efforts to make a difference in reaching these students for Jesus and will continue to lift them up in prayer.
Young Lives Single Mom/Baby Camp — Thank you to all who supported the Baby Bottle Coin Drive. We earned $500.00! We made it possible for young teen moms to attend Young Lives Single Mom/Baby Camp this year. Connect with Shelby to hear about her awesome experience.
Marissa Mallue, CRU Missionary We supported Marissa this summer as she spread God’s word through CRU. From Marissa: “I cannot express my thanks enough to you for prayerfully and financially joining me on this summer’s mission. May you know that you’ve made an eternal impact on me, the students and people all over the world.”
Grant Heil, Missionary Grandson, Dave & Ronnie Fish. We had Grant in our prayers as he participated in a mission trip this past June to Columbia, South America (pictured to the right; arrow). Thank you so much Grant for letting God use you for His glory. From Grant: Thank you so much to everyone for your kind words, support, or prayer for the mission trip to Armenia, Colombia! 383 people from Colombia trusted Jesus as their Savior and began a relationship with Him during our week in country! I got to watch 28 people accept the free gift of Jesus while in Colombia, helped guide the new followers of God with how to grow their relationship with God, witnessed God heal people, and got to encourage and be blessed by fellow followers of God in Colombia!
