Living the Mission Have a very Missional Christmas! Start your engines! It’s not time to race against your favorite Nascar celebrity, it’s time to do everything needed for Christmas and keep our perspective on that which really matters... Jesus! Our members have been off to a great start living the mission this holiday season as many have served at Thanksgiving with the International Students of Old Dominion University, packed nearly 400 boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and served in other area ministries. As the season roars forward, remember the canned food drive for the Union Mission, Outreach for Christ’s toy drive and delivery, Christmas parties at our multihousing ministries and Cuffee Center, mission teams preparing to serve in Southeast Asia and India, and the many other opportunities around us. With so many opportunities, the challenge to live the mission has never been greater. Join us in making a difference this Christmas in Hampton Roads and around the world! To serve, contact our Missions Ministry office at rquillin@firstnorfolk.org or 466.5181.
