First Baptist Nashville Scholarships Due Before April 15 The First Baptist Nashville Scholarship Council is now accepting applications for the Marian Yarbrough Student Scholarship Fund and Cox Memorial Scholarship. Applications for the Marian Yarbrough Scholarship will be considered for full-time students at any post-secondary institution. Applications for the Cox Memorial Scholarship are considered for full-time students attending Belmont University only. This is a competitive application process as the Council has the funds to award a limited number of scholarships. Decisions will be based upon student involvement (church, community, school), academic standing, career goals, an essay and a letter of recommendation. Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received a scholarship from the Council. An applicant must have been a resident member of First Baptist Nashville for one year prior to entering a postsecondary program. Application forms, along with scholarship descriptions, are available from Student Ministry Assistant Marissa Moore or online at firstbaptistnashville.org. In order to be considered, an application, an essay, and a letter of recommendation must be received by the church office on or before April 15, 2013.

March Collection What a great ministry we have for women in The Next Door! Its incredible impact and growth amaze us all. One of the small ways that we help is through a collection once a year of needed items. Suggestions include deodorant, toothbrushes, towels, washcloths and umbrellas. Bring your items and deposit them in the collection bins at the Main Entrances. ( Rus Roach, 664.6021, firstname.lastname@example.org

Worship Care Volunteers Needed Our nursery is growing, and it is time for us to add another classroom for our little ones that have turned one. We need to add at least 16 volunteers to teach during the Worship hour once every other month through August. Help us meet this need by making this opportunity to serve known in your circles. Our goal is to be ready for this room to open by Easter. If you’d like to volunteer your time singing songs, playing games, and teaching preschoolers about Jesus, please contact Mary Bunn at email@example.com.
