oin us for a fun day sponsored by Mountain Movers Men’s Ministry. On Saturday, June 8, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at Old Hickory Lake, our kids, dads, and granddads will gather together for fishing, boating, tubing and lunch!

First Baptist Nashville is rolling out a new and improved website soon. This is a vital part of our ministry to the downtown Nashville area and we hope you will share with others!

Join us Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. A class in digital scrapbooking is planned. There is no cost to attend, but you are on your own for meals. Please bring a sweet or salty snack and a two-liter beverage to share.

Mission Friends

ooking for an opportunity to serve? We are looking for teachers for Mission Friends (MF) for the 2013 – 2014 school year. There are spots available in the 3’s, 4’s, and Kindergarten classes.

MF meets on Wednesdays from 6:25 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. beginning in the fall. Preschoolers learn about missions through sensory activities, giving, prayer, helping others, and more! ( Becky Clay, 353.6647,

Haiti Mission Trip

his summer we are thrilled to take two teams to Haiti in July. Not only will our Senior Foreign Mission Trip again be to Haiti on July 17 – 23, but a second group will be traveling the week before, July 11 – 17. Ministry in Haiti will consist of working with an orphanage and construction projects. This work will continue our relationship building efforts in conjunction with the works of The Joseph School.
