Words Of Hope Dear FBC Family, Please know of our love and commitment to you during these days when we are not physically present with each other. I was reminded recently that Christians at other times and places have lived under similar conditions. Look at what Martin Luther once wrote in a letter (Luther's Works, Volume 43), "Whether one may flee from a Deadly Plague," Luther writes: "I shall ask God mercifully to protect us. Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine and take it. I shall avoid places and persons where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated and thus perchance inflict and pollute others and so cause their death as a result of my negligence. If God should wish to take me, he will surely find me and I have done what he has expected of me and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others. If my neighbor needs me however I shall not avoid place or person but will go freely as stated above. See this is such a God-fearing faith because it is neither brash nor foolhardy and does not tempt God." We are here for each other (under our Lord’s care). Sincerely, Robert

A Message from Your Deacons: We are still here even though we are closed for gatherings. Your deacons are praying for you as we move through this world-wide crisis together. Please let us know about needs arising in your life. During these days keep contact with one another and reach out and love your neighbors who are in nearest proximity to you as well.

"But, I don't DO Facebook!"

During these anxious days we are receiving questions about “how” tithes and offerings can be received though we are not able to meet together. We know that it is ever-important that we give our tithes and offerings in support of all the ministries of our church especially during these anxious days. Please know that you can give online by going to our church website OR you can mail your tithes and offerings into the church.

No problem. If you go to the church website ( you can always see the church Facebook page even if you don't have a Facebook account. Go to the top right of the home page and click on the (Facebook icon). You will go right to the church page!

As we pray, we are lifting you up alongside our President and national leaders, as well as the Governor of our State and those who serve on our behalf. May the God who-isable grant us wisdom and endurance for the days ahead according to His power which is at work within us.

Do you need something from the grocery store? Or do you have another need during these days of isolation? Call us at 704-482-3467, ext10 or call one of your ministers so that we can arrange for some help your way.
