Your generous contributions in FY2016 made it possible to accomplish all we set out to achieve and more. How grateful we are that in a time of paying off our debt and of raising money to restore our mosaic, you have been faithful in your support of this church and its ministries. Stewardship at FBC involves many people giving their time and talents each week to ministry. Many are strengthening the fellowship of believers by teaching, singing, visiting the sick, comforting the bereaved, providing loving care for our children, ministering to the needy, serving on committees and/or ministry teams and so much more! The faithful stewardship of our gifts of time, talent, and resources are responses of gratitude to God for all that he has provided. As a proper response, the created must express something back to the Creator. Let your expressions be one of gratitude and praise as we serve our risen Lord.

Offering this week
Are you satisfied with our Student Ministry? If so, we need to hear from you. Do you think we are not doing some ministry actions that we should be doing? If so, we need to hear from you. Are we doing some things that you don't like? If so, we need to hear from you.

Student Ministry Evaluation November 14-16
We are having a time of intentional evaluation of our Student Ministry. With any evaluation, there are questions.
attendance Sunday School
Why are we doing this? One, we want to be effective and faithful with the gospel of Jesus Christ that we are entrusted for students and families. Two, Jamie Mackey has been at FBCHSV for almost ten years at Minister to Students. It’s time for a good evaluation to set the stage for the next ten. Three, it is healthy to have “outside eyes” look at and hear about what we are doing and give us suggestions.
Who are the consultants? We have Ministry Architects (www.ministryarchitects.com) coming to be with us. They are the best at working with churches to build sustainable ministries.
When are we doing this? Listening Sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday at specific times. The Consultation / Ministry Report will be on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the Student Center. All Students, Parents, Student Workers, and anyone in the church desiring to hear the report are invited. The report will come with a 12-18-month time table for actions. A full schedule with registration links is available at fbchsv.org/consult-studentministryarchitects.
