T
he co-owners of Reveal Salon and Spa may be 20 years apart but their passion for their business is one and the same.
Two years ago, Melanie Kardynal asked her then-colleague Annette Good to look at a space on Acadia Drive for their future full-service salon and spa. “I’m meant to be here,” Annette says, reflecting on that day. She had previously owned a salon in England after extensive training in Europe. She moved back to Canada 13 years ago and is now in her 29th year in the industry. “I wouldn’t have embarked on this partnership with anyone else,” says

Melanie, who grew up in Saltcoats then moved to Saskatoon to train at Marca College. With six years’ experience she felt she was ready to start her own business venture. “We love our salon and we love what we do,” Annette says. “We had looked at other spaces but felt an immediate sense of comfort and belonging here. We love the fact that we can be our own bosses, choose our own schedule to work around our lifestyles, and provide a space for others to do the same. Journeyman stylists Holli Mackinnon, Ashton Strelau, esthetician Lauren Stein and Stephanie Weber of Sphynx Laser joined us from our previous salon. Hope Jervis, RMT, rented her space from the previous owner along
with journeyman stylists Kerri Daelick, and Janeen Dale.” The supportive group of women at Reveal welcomes the opportunity for potential new team members who are looking for a positive work environment with the freedom to create their own schedule. They have available space for one new stylist, a nail technician/esthetician and a part-time massage therapist. They are also open to accommodating new services, including spray tanning or lash extensions. The newly renovated salon and spa offers a full range of services to “reveal your inner beauty.” Experienced and friendly staff caters to clients of all ages. Services
