The conservatory is our favourite room. We like to relax in here with a morning coffee, reading the newspapers and looking out into the beautiful garden. It’s a very peaceful room.�

This delightful quintessential country cottage feels deceptively bright and spacious. The front door has stained glass panels and opens to an entrance hallway with a guest cloakroom and a very handy study. On the left is the main reception room which is a great size and has superb country views to the front, there is a feature exposed brick wall with an electric coal effect fire where the chimney could be reinstated if the preferance is for a real fire. The village is well located for access to the M1 junction 16 and there are good commuter train services available from Long Buckby and Northampton with fast links to London and Birmingham both taking approximately an hour.

We will miss the countryside, the wildlife and the peace and tranquility afforded by Olde Pink Cottage but we are moving to be closer to our family. We’re looking forward to spending time with our grandchildren and if we could pick the cottage up and take it with us, we definitely would.�

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Northamptonshire in the East Midlands, is a landlocked county covering an area of 2,364 square kilometres (913 sq mi), Apart from the county town of Northampton, other large population centres include Kettering, Corby,Wellingborough, Rushden and Daventry. The county contains the watershed between the River Severn and The Wash while several important rivers have their sources in the north-west of the county, including the River Nene, which flows north-eastwards to The Wash, and the “Warwickshire Avon”, which flows south-west to the Severn.
