At the other side of the stained glass window there is a very useful second staircase rising to the first floor. Beyond is the Kitchen/Breakfast Room, incorporating a full range of modern-day appliances, a large walk-in pantry and under-floor heating. A new glass enclosed tunnel fireplace links through to the Study and provides a glowing warmth to both rooms. The Study has ample space for home working, and there’s even room for settees around that fireplace for a well-deserved mid-morning coffee break. From here, a door connects through to the original entrance of the Victorian extension, which has recently been converted to a large Boot Room. Having a bit of your own woodland just outside, this is perhaps a most useful room when returning from a muddy jaunt with the kids and dogs! Off to the other side of the kitchen a new Hobbies Room has been created. This is now a very pleasant work space, with direct access into the garden in the warmer seasons and under-floor heating for the cooler ones. The spaciousness and period styling of the reception rooms is replicated in the bedrooms, where there are many retained original features throughout. The Master Bedroom and Bedroom Two both enjoy south-facing views over the gardens and swimming pool, and each has a staircase rising to the converted loft space where there is a wellfitted Dressing Rooms and Shower Rooms for each. Bedroom Six is also located on this level. The levels rise and fall slightly, by way of a few steps, along the upper hallway which leads to the second staircase and Bedrooms Three, Four and Five, which share a very large Family Bathroom and a further Shower Room.
