Canossa e tutta la sua storia, la forza del mito, dell’antico che trae forza dal proprio passato. E le nuove attività proposte dal Comune di Reggio Emilia che invitano alla partecipazione e allo scambio. S’é creato un percorso, da un arrivo, lontani, quasi nascosti dalla Rocca. E da qui comincia un cammino verso un primo punto focale, un Visitor Centere che accolga persone di tutti i tipi e tutte le età, che finalmente rivela la vista maestosa della Rocca e del territorio per poi invitare al cammino medievale nel mondo magico di Orlando fino all’arrivo agognato, meta dell’andar a Canossa...

CENTRE PANEL Gloss lacquered panel, angled to align with top flight of stairs

CUPBOARD DOORS 18 mm lacquered MDF doors on concealed hinges and touch catches.

SOFFIT LINING 2 x 12.5 mm plasterboard lining to underside of stair.

INSULATION - P20 Fully fill below stair with rockwool insulation.

INSULATION 75 mm insulation and underfloor heating system between existing floor joists.

GLASS BALUSTRADE 15 mm safety glass, on point fixings bolted to concealed 10 mm metal plate, between floor void and centre panel of stair. Point fixing bolts to be 65mm Preedy FXV2003 or similar compatible.

WINDOW FRAME Gloss lacquered frame to window sill, head and reveals, with 50 mm exposed leading edge, concealed fixings.

TIMBER PANELLING Ex 25 x 75 boarding, smoked oak with matt hardwax oil finish to match approved sample, concealed fixing.

Frame out to recess in wall

Protect and maintain existing stair and balustrade to first floor. New carpet runner by Client.
