RESTAURANT REVIEW OF ZIZZI Chelmsford's branch of Zizzi opened in March 2010. The restaurant is situated in the building where Habitat used to be, bringing huge amounts of life back into this area of the town. They really promote the fact that Chelmsford is the birthplace of radio. Zizzi are passionate about being a national brand whilst getting the local theme, feel and colour into their design for each and every restaurant. To celebrate Chelmsford's history they asked designer Camille Rousseau to work with the design and artwork. This includes century photography from the Marconi wireless company, light fittings inspired by retro radio sets, and many other quirky accessories. This Italian style restaurant offers classic, simple Italian cooking including pizza, pasta, salads, risotto, meat and fish dishes. With the restaurant being run with passion and a homely feel using fresh and seasonal ingredients. They have some great signature dishes and the menu is updated with new dishes throughout the year. Zizzi has a menu which is full of tempting plates including their Rustica pizza, which they are especially proud of and after tasting this myself, I am definitely a fan. There is also a range of carefully handpicked wines to complement every dish. A FEW THINGS ABOUT ZIZZI...
Outdoor Dinning Zizzi is one of the great places where you can go for lunch or dinner and sit out and enjoy the weather.

A Big Chain, with a Local Feel It's really nice to see when a big company takes note of the local people and the local town and Zizzi is well respected from this.
