He has already performed roles such as Peter Quint in The Turn of Screw conducted by Daan Janssens, Toby in The Medium conducted by Andrew Wise, L’incoronazione di Poppea as Arnalta conducted by Guy Penson, Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte conducted by Michel Tilkin, Jolicoeur in La Fourchette conducted by Matteo Pirola a pastiche of Offenbach music. This year he also played the part of Johan in the world creation of Charles Quint a unknown opera by Karel Miry which was a production by the Bijloke Muziekcentrum that was conducted by Geert Soenen. For the upcoming spring he is planned to sing Mitridate in the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto conducted by Florian Heyerick. Apart From opera he also has a big passion for oratorio. With his own ensemble La Chapelle Sauvage he has performed J.S. Bachs Weihnachtsoratorium, Magnificat, Kaffeekantate, Missa Brevis in A major, Motets. He also did the Matthäus passion conducted by Ludwig van Gijsegem with his European Inter voices Choir and lots of other oratorio ranging from Haydn to Saint Saens. In the lied repertoire he also feels very much at home he has performed numerous recitals with works from Schubert, Brahms, Beethoven, Fauré, Poulenc, Rachmaninov. Being that the Royal Conservatory Ghent has a strong connection to contemporary music Denzil has been able to sing pieces by Messian, Alban Berg, Wolfgang Rihm, Wim Hendrickx en John Cage. He was also part of the contemporary opera L'Algerino in Italia a parody on Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri by Joris Blanckaert. Next to the concert work he has done in the Benelux he has been singing at Fesitvals such as Festival di Musica in Colombia where he is invited back to sing in 2015.

Denzil Delaere, Tenor, started his music education at the age of six at the public music academy of Deinze where he studied saxophone with and Stefaan Cornelis. At the age of 14 he had the chance to continue his musical studies at the Kunsthumaniora Ghent where he studied singing and piano with Philippe Wesemael and Sabine Haenebalcke. In 2008 he graduated from the Kunsthumaniora with highest honors. He continued his musical studies at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent where he studies with Marcos Pujol and Gidon Saks, he is finishing his Masters in classical singing this year. During his studies he won the solist concours of the conservatory and had the change to sing with the symphony orchestra of the Royal conservatory conducted by Dirk Brossé. He already had masterclasses with: Robert Alderson, Jennifer Hamilton, Michael Spyres, Misha Didyk, Gabriele Micheli and Ubaldo Fabbri. During the summer of 2009 Denzil sang the opera Castor et Pollux at the yorke trust opera summercourse, where he was invited back in 2010 to do the Norfolk Coastal Opera.
