100% of students achieved a Level 1, Flintshire average 98.7%. 100% of students achieved a Level 2, Wales Average 65.7%, Flintshire Average 65.7% The percentage of students achieving the Level 1 or 2 threshold is higher than the average in Flintshire and Wales. Level 2 Inclusive (5A*-C including English and Maths) increased by 6%. 100% of students achieved a C+/pass in Science; the highest in Flintshire. GCSE A*/A grades increasing; 2010 = 6.2%, 2011 = 10.2%, 2012 = 16.2%. 2013=15%. Year 12 on roll increased by 25% Level 3 (Year 13 students who achieved at least 2 A levels) is 100%. 2012 Flint High School achieved Band 1 status – top 13% of schools in Wales Attendance is higher than the average for Flintshire and Wales. ESTYN Report 2012 Flint High School is a good school with excellent prospects for improvement.
