Hello, Fort Hood Officers’ Spouses’ Club Friends,
I’m Tracy Curran and, as the 2013-2014 FHOSC President, I am honored to be a part of an outgoing group of hardworking FHOSC Board members who wish to welcome you to our Super Sign-Up on August 28 from 1000 to 1400 at Club Hood. For some, the journey has not always been easy. When faced with these challenges, no matter where we called home, we often turned to our friends and military families to find community with each other. We are committed to giving back to the Fort Hood community and, this year, we are asking you to do the same by giving your time or sharing your talents. Through our many social events and volunteer events, held during afternoons and evenings, we are asking you to make Fort Hood “your” community. Let’s make a positive impact by making a difference together. It is, then, with pleasure that the 2013-2014 FHOSC Board members and I invite you to our Super Sign-Up event on August 28 from 10:00 to 2:00 at Club Hood. Become a member of this year’s FHOSC and help us to step up our commitment to our community. Mark your calendars for our first luncheon on September 18th at Club Hood. A complete listing of our luncheon and event dates can be found in this newsletter. FHOSC offers the opportunity to make new friendships, reconnect with old friends from our journey and renew our sense of community. Together, your talents, your volunteer efforts and your friendship will create the camaraderie that we have all known along our various paths. Simply put, through our community of FHOSC, we can all have a positive impact on our military journey. Join me in making a difference by becoming part of the Fort Hood Officers’ Spouses’ Club. Joyfully, Tracy
