In this Introductory class, you will learn Proper Stance & Guard, Basic Footwork, How to throw Three Very Hard Strikes in less than One Second and Stop a Barrage of Punches. (You will feel like Neo from the Matrix Movie). At the end of this class, you will also be able to disarm a handgun-wielding assailant that is pointing the weapon at your face. This is a great social dance! In this class, students will learn body movements, timing, figures, and poise. It’s an easy rhythm to keep with simple steps to lead and follow. Energize yourself through Latin music while also ­getting a fun cardio workout.

Introduction to Tai Chi The course emphasizes the governing concepts of this healing art by using Yang style of Tai Chi. The soft ever-flowing movements can be described as “meditation in motion.” It is total exercise, one that encompasses the body, mind, and spirit. Tai Chi aids in stress reduction and the enhancement of vital energy. The class is ideal for those suffering with hypertension, arthritis, and anybody imbalance. The class meets 8 weeks. TIME
