_xààxÜ yÜÉÅ Xw|àÉÜ Hello FGI San Diego! Time is an interesting thing. It’s seems like the tighter we try to grasp onto it, the faster and more easily it slips away from us. Don’t you think? After stepping back from some of my obligations, time still seems to be racing along (anyone else scared to death that Christmas is a month and a half away?), but I seem to be enjoying more of it. So what that I didn’t carve my pumpkins until the night before Halloween, the important part was watching my kids carve theirs all by themselves for the first time. So what that I’ve not had time to blow dry my hair in the morning, I actually found some pretty cute ways to style my hair sans heat! So what that I didn’t have time to do my make-up in the morning (GASPsince I’m a make-up artist!), but I realized that one coat of mascara and a killer red lipstick go a LONG way, not to mention is easier on touch-ups throughout the day! I guess what I’m getting at is to not sweat the small stuff, because you never know where it might lead you. As the holiday season comes running at us full-force, allow those little things to go aside, and focus on the bigger picture. Enjoy more of your “imperfect” life rather than waste all of your time trying to have a “perfect” life that you’ll never get to experience anyway. Until next time…
