2013-14 marks the first season in which a 10-second back court clock will be instituted in NCAA women’s basketball.
The November 8 start date was the earliest the Eagles have ever began a season. The previous mark was November 9, 2007 when FGCU faced Florida State.
hitting the century mark In 11 seasons, the Eagles have scored 100 points or more on 10 occasions. Since the transition to Division I, the team has hit the mark three times.
international increase Although the Eagles’ shooting percentage fell during the three-game swing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the Eagles returned to the United States with an increased 3-point shooting percentage. The team went 38-for-110 from beyond-the-arc in Mexico to bring the overall 3-point percentage to .335.
