Who pays for my other losses when I am hit by a car while riding my bicycle??

In our last edition, we wrote about how Florida law requires that your own auto insurance company pay first for medical bills you incur when you are struck by a car while riding your bicycle. In this month’s edition, we explore what happens next – who pays for your other damages, like the pain you experience from your injuries and other quality of life losses. Click to read more…

Julie’s Jams

From Our staff...

For all of you music lovers out there who enjoy live music and are not sure where to go, I have listed a few of my favorite places that offer a diverse blend of music seven days a week. I would suggest you go check them out! TT’s Tiki Bar:

“This is the place to go when family & friends are visiting, or when you just want to relax after a hard day. You can either sit under the tiki hut; or my suggestion, sit in an Adirondack chair where you can put your toes in the sand and watch the sunset over beautiful Charlotte Harbor all while listening to live music.” Click here to view website

Dean’s South of the Border:

“If you’re looking for more of a party atmosphere, this is the place to go. It’s a great place to meet up with friends after work, or to party into the late evening hours. There is air conditioned seating inside if you choose to have a bite to eat and then move to the outdoor cantina patio for drinks, dancing, and live music.” Click here to view website

Community Spotlight... We have a tasty spotlight to dish out this month...

FGB is blessed to have many people and organizations that recommend us to their friends, family members, and customers. One of the ways we show our appreciation is to periodically deliver a hot breakfast to those who recommend us. That’s where Hometown Grill comes in. We are grateful to Hometown Grill and the delicious breakfast of hot sandwiches and coffee they prepare for us to deliver to our community partners. If you are looking to try a new place for breakfast or lunch, stop in or order take-out at Hometown Grill!
