Vor zehn Jahren erschien das erste Album dieser drei schwärmerischen Europäer mit Meerzugang. Seither hat das Trio über 150 Konzerte in über 20 Ländern gespielt. Nun folgt Teil zwei von Mare Nostrum. Und wiederum haben wir es mit einem musikalischen Festmenü allererster Güte zu tun, zu dem neben Eigenkompositionen aller Beteiligten auch zwei überaus reizvolle Bearbeitungen klassischer Kompositionen gehören: Dabei wird der Bogen vom 17. ins 20. Jahrhundert gespannt – von Claudio Monteverdis «Si dolche è il tormento» zu Erik Saties «Gnossienne No. 1».

The first album of these three enthusiastic Europeans with access to the Mediterranean was released ten years ago. Since then the trio has played over 150 concerts in over 20 countries. Now comes part two of Mare Nostrum, and again with a top-class musical feast, featuring excellent own compositions as well as two intriguing interpretations of classical tunes. They are drawing a bridge from the 17th to the 20th century, from Claudio Monteverdi’s "Si dolche è il tormento" to Erik Satie's "Gnossienne No. 1".
