FINAL BIRD PRINT RESEARCH BOARD

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - WORKING WITH JERSEY ON THE STAND EXPERIMENTING WITH JERSEY SYMMETRIC AND ASYMMETRIC SHAPES AND DRAPERY EXAMPLES. USING JERSEY IN THIS WAY MEANS THE FABRIC CAN DICTATE THE DESIGN MORE, SO IT IS WAS GOOD TO TRY DIFFERENT SHAPES HOWEVER I WANTED TO USE THE JERSEY IN A LESS OBVIOUS WAY THAN DRAPING

CREATING STRONG DEFINED CURVES AND LINES, USING SIMPLE AND CLEAN SYMMETRICAL/ASYMETTRICAL DRAPING TECHNIQUES

FURTHER PLAYING AROUND WITH JERSEY. USING IT IN A NATURAL FORM AND LETTING THE STRETCH AND WEIGHT OF THE JERSEY CONTROL THE STRUCTURE, THIS HAS CREATED SOME BEAUTIFUL LINES AND CURVES WITHIN THE OVERALL SHAPES.
