Designed to impress Mrs Greville, an ambitious Edwardian hostess, chose Polesden Lacey as the ideal place for entertaining and relaxing with friends. And this is what we invite you to do with us, 100 years on. The gardens offer something for every season, including the Winter Garden with its cheerful yellow aconites.
or for Glorious Glimpse guided tours which take place at weekends in January and February (see right for details).
We serve a variety of fresh, homemade food including cakes and other treats.
To help you enjoy the countryside, we have geocaching and waymarked walks.
A two-course Winter Warmer lunch is also available weekdays in January (excluding bank holidays). Our shop, one of the largest in the National Trust, sells a wide range of gifts, home accessories and more.
The house with its rich collection of art and stories provides a fascinating insight into the Edwardian era and is open daily from the beginning of March
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
