B������� N��� � N���� Pancake House ‘Dine Out for People’ Benefit Set for Sept. 24 The Original Pancake House is hosting Dine Out for People with Disabilities to benefit The Arc of Northern Virginia on Thursday, September 24 from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.. The restaurant will donate 15 percent of its proceeds throughout the day to the nonprofit organization that supports people and families living with cognitive, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. Sunstone Hires New Graduate Counseling Intern Sunstone Counseling has announced that Amy Bouldin has been hired as a graduate counseling intern from George Mason University. Graduate Counseling Interns are available at Sunstone Counseling to help provide therapy for people who need a reduced rate to access services. Bouldin will work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to help with a variety of issues including coping with loved ones’ medical diagnoses/mental health issues, depression and anxiety, sexuality/sexual health issues, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss, and difficult family dynamics. F.C. Fire Department Seeks Donations for Silent Auction

The Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department is seeking donations from the local business community for its Fire Prevention Week Open House Silent Auction which will be held at Fire Station 6 on Saturday, October 10th, 2015. Annually, the Fire Station Open House draws approximately 1,500 local residents and young families. Fundraising from this event will support important training opportunities and annual physicals for volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
