Disney Cruise Line Karl L. Holz ~ President, Disney Cruise Line and New Vacation Operations, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts As president of Disney Cruise Line and New Vacation Operations, Karl L. Holz leads several key growth businesses for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. In this role, he oversees Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney and the company’s offsite regional resorts business, working to align these businesses to take the Disney brand to new destinations. At Disney Cruise Line, Holz leads a cast and crew of more than 7,500 and is responsible for the entire operation, which includes the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream and newly launched Disney Fantasy cruise ships. He also oversees Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, and Disney’s Port Canaveral cruise terminal. Karl joined Disney in 1996 as vice president of Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort. He later served as vice president of Epcot, then senior vice president of Walt Disney World Operations and in 2003 was named president of Disney Cruise Line. In 2004, he moved to Paris as president and chief executive officer of Euro Disney S.A.S. In February 2009, Karl was appointed to his current position of president, Disney Cruise Line and New Vacation Operations. Before joining Disney, Karl served as vice president of theme park operations for Knott’s Berry Farm in Southern California, and previously served as president of Sky Chefs Airport Concession Inc. Karl earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1973 from State University of New York at Fredonia. He lives in Orlando with his wife, Wendy. They have two grown children, Erik and Kirsten.

Don Moody ~ Manager, Sourcing and Procurement Services Don Moody is the Manager of Sourcing and Procurement under the Walt Disney World Integrated Supply Chain Management Group, and supports Disney Cruise Line as his sole client. Some of his responsibilities include leading a Quote Management Team of Sourcing Specialists which support the Disney Cruise Line Fleet, responsible for the Disney Wonder from a technical purchasing stand point supporting Deck, Entertainment and Engine departments, manages fuel for the entire fleet which includes bids, spot buys, negotiating and actual fuel order placement, and any special projects brought his way like dry docks, etc.. He manages the team responsible for supplying and tracking all items for the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Don is responsible for delivering a goal of (4-5) million dollars in cost savings/cost avoidance each year to help his Disney Cruise Line clients achieve their overall AOP goals and strategies. A graduate of Barrington/Zion College in East Providence, Rhode Island, Don’s career with the Walt Disney Company spans more than (23) years, and within these (23) years has worked for Disney Cruise Line (15) of those years. He has previously worked at the Walt Disney World Resort as a buyer for the opening team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Don’s career has also included purchasing positions within companies such as Caterpillar/Ring Power, Brungart/Barlow Handling Equipment Company, Florida Clarklift, Inc. and Rozier Machinery Company. He is a member of the National Association of Purchasing Management/ISM.
