Minister to lonely people through them and help the facilitators teach with compassion and concern for their class; that they will be faithful to share Your Word that can change lives. `` Stir the hearts of Your people to work in the Preschool, Children and Student Ministries; show them how they can have an impact on the lives of young people; May we faithfully show them how to love You with all their heart, with all their soul, with all their mind and with all their strength. `` Bless our Deacons with hearts for service as they strive to meet the needs of our church family.

`` Encourage the hearts of our Single and College/ Career Adults, and may their commitment and faithfulness have an impact and influence on their peers to live according to Your principles. `` Specifically, Lord, we ask for you to guide us to a director of our Special Needs Ministry. Allow us to care for and encourage families with special needs children with excellence. `` Excite students about being a part of Your work through Mission Friends, Royal Ambassadors, Girls in Action and Act Teens; Provide volunteers who have a passion for pointing students to the importance of not just hearing the Word but doing it.

`` Give great success to the Children’s Memory Work, Bible Drill and Bible Buddies Ministries as children memorize Your Word and prepare their swords for battle by hiding Your word in their heart. `` Use the Connections classes to help people understand and commit to Your vision for First Baptist Church Sevierville; Use it to help them discover their spiritual gifts that can be used for advancing Your kingdom. `` Help us to grow in the grace and knowledge of You. Thank You for providing us with a Library Ministry that provides us with excellent tools for growing our faith and families; lead us to support this ministry in a way that brings honor to You.

`` Give the Men’s EAGLE Ministry, the Ladies First Ministry and the Senior Adults Ministry your direction and a passion for growing in Your love and reaching others who desperately need You; Challenge men to be the spiritual leaders of the home through the Wildgame Supper; challenge women to be the helpmeet God created them to be through the Beth Moore Simulcast and encourage relationships that surpass generations through the Girls, Giggles and Games night out. `` May Life Change University help people grow deeper in their knowledge of You, and make a difference in their relationships with You and others. Father as we grow, help us to not become satisfied; give us a hunger to honor and serve You with all of our hearts, and to serve others with love.

`` Children are a heritage from You! Help us as we seek to point parents and children to You through our PEP Moms Ministry and Mothers Day Out; You are the One who provides us the perfect instruction manual for our marriages, parenting and relationships. `` Let others show their obedience to You by following Your example in Baptism; may it serve as an outreach to others. `` Oh Lord, you call us to be good stewards of all that You have blessed us with. May we develop a Budget that is faithful to Your calling. Let us trust You in a supernatural way because You are able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever ask for or imagine.

`` Although the heavens and the earth cannot contain You; You are present with us in this house of worship. May we Use and Care for the Facilities that You have provided us with in accordance with Your will; We ask for direction and timing as we determine the best use for our Park Road Property. We specifically as for the committee to not be discouraged and for funds to develop the property. Give the Building and Expansion and Vision 20/20 Committees direction to know the timing, the needs of the church and to make the property available for Your use. We pray that You will be pleased.

`` Protect the church from people who would cause her harm in any way. `` Equip the church to make a difference – to stand for truth and to minister with compassion and love.

`` Enable FBCS to continue to do whatever it takes to reach the lost. `` Empower Your children to love as You love, to forgive as You forgive, and to serve as You serve; to have unity. `` May the love and joy we experience as a church be contagious, and make a difference in our families and communities.

COMMUNITY `` Use CARE & FirstReach Outreach to encourage and pray for those in our fellowship and community; Equip us and move us out of our comfort zones to share our faith. `` Have an eternal impact by changing lives and strengthening walks with you through the Hearts on Fire Singles and Youth Conferences. `` Thank you for technologies that allow us to reach communities worldwide! Provide volunteers for the Television Ministry and allow the broadcasts to bring glory and honor to You; Provide the Information Technology Ministry with creative avenues to minister to our fellowship and community. `` Bring order and impact to the Judgement House Ministry that uses a dramatic method of showing hundreds in the community the eternal consequences of their acceptance or rejection of Christ. Use this event to bring hundreds to Christ. `` Provide hundreds of volunteers to work in Fall Festival. Give direction to the event coordinators and let us show Christ to others as we work this event with excellence. Give us opportunities to tell others about Christ as we fellowship.

`` Strengthen and energize coaches and volunteers in Upward Sports; use the fun of sports to bind families together and to reach the many unchurched families of our community. `` Use Celebrate Recovery, Divorce Care and Grief Share to instill hope in people, and may they meet You on the road to recovery. `` Allow The Christmas Store and The Singing Christmas Tree the opportunity to share the greatest story ever told – the gospel message of Jesus Christ. May the love You have demonstrated for us motivate many people to give of their time and talents to share this message of Jesus. `` There are many hurting families in our area that are affected by the slow economy. As we point them to Jesus through the Benevolence and Helping Hands Ministries, provide us especially with Spanish speaking volunteers and direct us to good stewardship of the monies that are used to provide food, shelter and clothing to the least of these.

`` Give direction and provide volunteers for the Local Mission Work Day; Let us not love with just words and tongue but in action and in truth. `` Thank You for the growth of the Hispanic Ministry. We pray for strength and endurance for the leaders, and for spiritual maturity in the development of future leaders of this outreach; Continue to use this tool to reach many brothers and sisters in Christ. `` Help us make a difference in our area by developing relationships with people who do not know You. May we use every opportunity to show Your love and compassion. `` Thank You for faith-based ministries in our area. Father, finally, in humble gratitude we lift up our Wonderful Staff to You:

Join them in unity and may they walk steadily on the road You have revealed to them. `` Watch over them; protect their families and their testimony and may they let their light so shine before others that others may see their good works and glorify You. `` We lift up the Committee on Committees, the Nominating Committee and the Personnel Committee to you; give them Your glorious wisdom from above to fill leadership positions with those who will not promote their own agenda but Yours; We pray for their commitment to serve with excellence.

`` We ask for Your perfect wisdom for those You have placed on the Senior Pastor Search Committee; You are a God of peace and not disorder. Lead them to Your man; Begin to prepare this man’s heart; Stir in him a desire to fulfill Your call; Anoint Your chosen with Your heart and Your passions; May this be a man who will seek to please You and not others; For those You have called to this committee we pray they will seek You with all their heart.
