“ 01

I was born in Marshall, North Carolina. These mountains mean something to me. I have enjoyed an abundant life here, with countless memories. My vision for Preserve Communities is to protect this one-of-a-kind setting so that families can create a living legacy to be passed on from generation to generation.”

Stewards of the Land “It’s like heaven on earth.” Those are the words one of our homeowners used to describe Preserve Communities. Both French Broad Crossing and The Preserve at Little Pine immerse homeowners in a natural, pristine, adventure-friendly setting. This land is home to old-growth forests, ancient river systems, freshwater ponds, fertile pastures, and countless opportunities for exploration and wonder. At Preserve Communities, our chief responsibility is to preserve the integrity of the land. That’s why we have placed large tracts, more than 1,200 acres—nearly 2/3 of the land at both properties—in conservation easements, held in trust by the Southeast Regional Conservancy. Families will enjoy a naturebased, multi-generational living experience that can be passed down from generation to generation.

Life on the River Imagine living in your own National Park. That’s precisely the living experience that French Broad Crossing bestows.

04

Located along the ancient French Broad River— third oldest river in the world—this natureforward community is a haven for rafting, fishing, swimming, hiking, and outdoor adventure. The moment you set your eyes on French Broad Crossing—the majestic river, the carefully preserved

mountain landscape, the sweeping views—you feel a connection to this community. Families are drawn to its picture-perfect setting, as well as the array of amenities and outdoor recreational activities for people of all ages. This is where the adventure starts and never ends.

It’s a beautiful place here, and there are so many ways to get out and enjoy nature—rafting on the river, fishing on the banks, hiking through virgin wilderness, watching the sun set over the ridgeline. That’s the stuff that we love, and we want to make sure it is here for our children’s children to enjoy long after we’re gone.”

The Pinnacle of Mountain Living To behold The Preserve at Little Pine is to enter a world as gloriously pristine as it was centuries ago, just as Nature intended.

Located at 4,000+ feet—with breathtaking views in every direction—Little Pine’s higher elevation means cool, pleasant temperatures in the summer. The community also offers a treasure trove of natural delights: 1,800 acres of lush forests, grassy bald mountaintops, freshwater creeks, rolling pastures, scenic ridgelines, mountain ponds, and magical

sunsets, all carefully preserved for you and your family. With limited homesites and the vast majority of land protected forever in a conservation trust, you can inherit an amenity-rich lifestyle that is solely your own, yet within easy reach of the charms and magic of downtown Asheville and Western North Carolina’s storied Blue Ridge Mountains.
