QUALIFICATIONS
Farmington Country Club is a premier not-for-pro t private country club with membership offered by invitation only. Quali ed member candidates will be sponsored by multiple well-acquainted current members of the Club, and will complete an application process and be voted upon by the Board of Directors prior to being offered an invitation to join Farmington.
MEMBERSHIP
CLASSES
Farmington offers two primary membership classes: Resident—for those that maintain a residence in Charlottesville, Albemarle County or any of the surrounding nine adjacent counties—or, National—for those that do not maintain a residence in the Resident area. Note that maintaining any residence for any period of time in the Resident area will qualify a candidate for Resident membership. Special membership programs are available for legacy members residing in our Resident area, as well as students enrolled in a full-time Graduate studies program at the University of Virginia. Additionally, National member candidates with children enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University of Virginia may pursue a National Child Program membership supplement to allow for unaccompanied use of Club facilities and services.
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Several membership levels are available and designed to serve the various needs of our community—all providing robust access to Club facilities and amenities. Comprehensive membership is all-encompassing with no limits on golf and racquets while Social membership provides most of the same bene ts, but limits golf and racquets usage. Note that there are instances where you may only qualify for one level of membership based on your Resident or National classi cation, and note that all Resident members commence membership at the Comprehensive level for the rst 10 years.

A 48-month nancing plan is available for Resident entrance fees with 20% payment at activation. 0% interest, months 1-12; 7% interest, months 13-48.

Comprehensive
Unlimited access to all Club amenities including golf, racquets, dining, aquatics, tness, events, and overnight stays at the Farmington Clubhouse as well as the opportunity to sponsor guests to stay at the Clubhouse and use the Clubhouse to host private events. Green and court use fees do not apply.
All new Resident members will commence membership at the Comprehensive level for the rst 10 years prior to Social downgrade becoming available.
Resident Legacy Candidates will receive a 40% entrance fee reduction upon joining. A qualifying legacy candidate meets all Resident membership requirements, and is the child (age 21-34) of an active Resident member with at least 10 years tenure.
