Claydon Drills has appointed Akos Hutoczki to the role of aftersales and service manager, as part of an ongoing expansion programme to meet rising global demand for the company’s crop establishment products. Commenting on his new position, Akos said: “I am delighted to be joining Claydon at such an exciting stage in its development. “My role is to act as a link between the company, management team, manufacturing and service staff, together with our growing network of dealers on all aspects of after sales and service. My responsibilities include the development and implementation of training programmes and procedures to ensure that dealers’ sales staff and service technicians
have all the information that they need to ensure that Claydon customers receive the best possible service, wherever they are located.” Having grown up on his family’s arable and livestock farm in Hungary, Akos always wanted to work in the farming sector and gained a degree in agricultural engineering. But with a lack of jobs in the sector he joined a civil engineering company involved with major infrastructure projects. Work dried up during the credit crunch and Akos made the difficult decision to leave his family and friends and move to England in 2010. Since then he has worked in the restoration of historic vehicles as a parts adviser, then service manager. In his new role at Claydon he will be based at Wickhambrook in Suffolk but will travel to dealers all over the world.

Three new faces at agrochemical company Oro Agri has appointed three new members of staff to its technical development team in Italy, France and Turkey. Onorio Gamberini, who will be based in Italy, was technical manager of fungicides at Rhone Poulenc Agrochimie for 19 years. His career then spanned the joint ventures of Aventis and the Bayer acquisition, before moving to Cheminova Italia as research and development manager, then Nufarm Italia, where he was customer marketing manager. Carol Pullen, Oro Agri’s general manager for Europe, said Onorio’s knowledge of the Italian market, as well as his sales, technical, operational and strategic marketing experience, means he is ideally placed to offer technical and development support. Joining the team in France is Elodie Rebolle, who will provide business development
and technical support. She began her career at Basf Agricultural Solutions as customer technical support for its digital crop monitoring service, then spent three years as a sales rep in south east France, before joining Nufarm in 2017. Finally, Murat Yavuzer has joined the business in Turkey, joining county manager Orcun Urun as they embark on establishing a new Oro Agri entity in Turkey, which is planned for early 2020. Murat graduated as an agriculture engineer before joining Koppert Biological Systems in 2012 as a direct sales specialist. In 2018 he began working for Nufarm as its business development and technical support. Oro Agri is part of the Omnia Group under the agriculture division, which develops, manufactures and distributes agriculture ‘soft chemistry’ products in the organic, sustainable or environmentally friendly categories.
