Dust the surfaces until a thin layer of dust is formed. The areas where the insects pass over or hide should be determined so as to increase the product’s effectiveness (water pipes, heating and ventilation pipes, under cupboards and other objects).
Repeat application only when live insects appear again.

Steel 25 EC
Smell 0,5 DP is a Dusting Powder insecticide that is applied easily by spreading the product from its container.
Dusting Powders low the cost of application and are ideal for highly absorbent surfaces that makes them more effective than sprayed mixtures.
Sprayed mixtures will be degraded or absorbed when applied to dusty surfaces or applied to surfaces with high porosity such as potting/garden soil.
Contrariwise, dusting powders form a thin layer on the treated area. In case of stables the product can penetrate into the uneven and multilayer surface of straw bedding, making the product more effective by maximizing the area of application.

The correct identification of the areas by where insects pass, hide or breed, increases effectiveness of application. Apply on the interior surfaces of houses, warehouses, stables and industrial facilities giving attention at the corners of the walls.
Steel 25 EC is a liquid Emulsifable Concentrate (EC) insecticide that is known for its high volatile properties in combination with high percentage of active substance (25%). These two advantages create the conditions for a powerful product used by PCOs. Its extreme Knock Down and Flashing Out Effect is preferred so for common problem applications as for heavy duty situations with severe population of crawling insects. Despite the fact that the active substance is highly concentrated, it is one of the very few products that are allowed from EU registration to be applied in stables. In addition to the highly concentrated active substance feature, the formulation presents a very good residual duration compared to other synthetic pyrethroids due to sunlight degradation.

Synthesis
Disperse the product, by hand, at the external perimeter of the premises. Recommended application safeguards the area. Formulation acts as a protection zone in the region that will be dispersed, preventing snakes from getting closer to it. Place the product in clay areas near rocks, coral stones, in piles of wood or stone, near water supply tanks, near streams, in places with strong plant vegetation, in areas adjacent to abandoned land or land-rich weeds, in industrial areas with accumulated trash objects and external spaces.
Ideal for free or organized camps, vacation houses, warehouses and industrial sites located in the countryside. Given the formulation of the product, it is not easily washed out by rain and is not removed by the wind. Furthermore the impregnated woodchips are not easily perceived when placed on the soil. After heavy rainfall, the woodchips are overlapping to the ground up again.

Applications
Apply on a small-scale trial, in water conservation areas, which are not used for drinking water storage, irrigation, for keeping fishes and which may be suitable, temporarily or permanently, for the development of mosquito larvae.

To achieve both a direct and a residual effect, the composition contains s-methoprene in free form (EW) and in microcapsule form (CS).
Masina has a growth regulator (S-methoprene) that mimics the natural youth hormone (JH) in mosquitoes. Youth hormones are responsible for the growth of mosquitoes in the latter larval stages. The amount of youth hormone decreases at each stage, during the 4th larval stage before the appearance of the nymph (pupae) its level becomes almost zero. The effect of S-methoprene during these sensitive stages causes morphological deformities and abnormalities leading to death by drowning.
