Craig Thompson, Membership Director of Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism The Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism unveiled its new and improved website in June. Our members and the public said that we should freshen it up, make it more mobile-friendly and easier to navigate. We believe that we have done that, and we invite all members of the community to check it out. Go to to take a tour. This is a great resource for Owatonna and Steele County! You will find it to be more visually appealing with updated photos of chamber events and members. It is designed to be more mobile-friendly, and it should be more intuitive to easily find all the important information you need. Here are some key links and pages that our members and the public will certainly appreciate: • M  embership Directory — An easy way to find 530-plus engaged and supportive local businesses, service providers and non-profits that are members of the OACCT. Their contact information, links to their websites and social media accounts, maps to their businesses and more are available. • C  ommunity Calendar of Events — Find information about upcoming Chamber events, and many community events: arts, history, sporting, benefits/fundraisers, shopping and more.
