Section 1.0 Introduction House Petry Retreat is a single family house, which is designated and designed and intended by N+P Architecture and is sited in Denmark. The House is a white building spotted free from any embellished, revised in a green context and mortifying a wooden cube. An introspective construction as well as being extrovert; introversion comes from its look toward inner spaces while being illusive for the viewer and extroversion is felt when inviting the viewer to the interior space through a platform (Anon 2017). The house is constructed in a wooden construction and covered and sheathed with thermal wood, therefore the roof is covered with sedum green roof. The house has widely made usage of pine wood as its building material and built and constructed with enormous and vast glass windows around the house. The complete house has engaged the area of 120.0 m2 . This single level story comes with the bedroom, common areas and separated into access. The author has perused different and contrasting houses on the web in making the choice for this unique and individual designing for this project, but is attracted by this one for its strength and its vision to the neighboring environment. From the outlining of this house exhibited in the image, this author visualized the glimpse of this architect is just not elementary and simple to build a modern house, but more exhaustive and intensive in constructing a place as less affecting on the enclosed environment as feasible.

The idea of cubic structure and angles can be seen in the modernism designs. The utilization of contemporary materials, communication with interior and exterior spaces, the usage of sun and its shadow for human comfort, usage of glass and the natural light perfectly sits with the designed project. The walls of the house are narrow and thinner, the columns are more minimal, windows enhanced with stained glass.

Section 3.0 Circulation & Zoning of the House House Petry Retreat is moderately located on an outlying site that slopes in Denmark. The entrance to the house expands over the building envelope. Once inside the entry porch, the sight opens to the west, down to both the dining and living extends, and out to a huge deck glance over landscape. The living-room fireplace is situated straightly facing to the entry. However, its stainless-steel smoke stacks undertakes as a foil to the entry and setting the vision. There is also been a used of a cool material such Seranit for interior interaction. However every truss is made up of local pine. For the finishing material of building Basalt stone has been used over to provide identity and maximum light.

BUILDING SYSTEM It is a Private home located in in west coast of Denmark, designed by N+P Architecture. This building had to be constructed on a 10% steep terrain; it is built into single cube. The house is built with a intention being breezy and bright for which large glass windows are placed over all and to develop a strong connection with the nature and weather outside. However, the house is closely covered with thermo wood and roof covered with sedum green roof.

Section 5.0 Conclusion

After studying about the chosen house, this particular author has acknowledging that designing a house is not a without charge drawing, but necessitate sufficient of reflection to object and goal it in an all-around way. Firstly, climate may influence on the choosing of building material. For this house, the range of the topmost joist can be extensive in outcome in the local hot winter. With almost about 15 degree in winter season, it does not require to consider the snow load. In fact, climate is a clue in the outline. Furthermore, it’s identical essential to look over the neighboring environment. For this house, due to it’s location in the such landscaping area, in fact, it’s important to look over how to fetch sufficient light inside the house and maintain the house dry.
