Mahonia Vineyard is a sustainably farmed, family-owned vineyard located in the Willamette Valley foothills south of Salem, Oregon. For over 25 years, they have specialized in producing high quality Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay wine grapes which are sold to some of the most celebrated winemakers in the Willamette Valley. Each year, they hold back a few tons of their best fruit and work with local winemaker Chris Berg (Roots Wine & Vineyard) in order to create limited bottlings of ‘honest wine’— wine that represents the unique habitat of their vineyard site; their values; and their commitment to producing high quality wines at affordable prices. They generate solar power, use locally produced biodiesel, are Salmon Safe and LIVE Certified, and were one of the first vineyards in Oregon to become Carbon Neutral. Their definition of profit includes giving back to Oregon communities, especially through programs benefitting children such as Family Building Blocks, and those benefitting the environment such as SOLV.
