IFAF EXECUTIVE BOARD Introduction: After reviewing our current structure and doing our due diligence / research with other international governing bodies, it was decided that multiple boards at the Executive level was not necessary and combining the Executive Committee with the Executive Board would streamline IFAF governance and become a more effective and efficient structure. As part of the transition, it was decided to get the best results we would provide the Athlete’s Commission & Continental representatives with a seat and a voice at the highest decision making level in IFAF - the Executive Board.

Structure of Executive Board:

Estimated Meetings Per Year:

Changes from Previous Years: The Continental Executive Committee replaces the Continental Federations / Board of Dirctors.

Notes: ● Recommendation also is to elect the officiating, competition and technical committee chair of each continent in the Congress and have a seat for each of them at the Continental ExCo. This will keep all these people closer to the decision-making and help streamline the IFAF structure and operations. ● Elect two (2) substitute members for Continental ExCo’s. These could then step in in a case where the actual chair or member is elected into the IFAF Presidium. As two members is the maximum recommendation for any continent to have in the Presidium, these is no need to elect more substitute members. If the Chair and vice-chair would be both elected into Presidium, then it should be the member with no task assigned to stepping in as the Chair.
