He hath put in his heart that he may teach… Ex. 35:34 Once again God has opened the door to teach full-time, and I have joyfully answered His call. With that leading, I will be stepping down from the position of church secretary later this month. It has been my sincere pleasure to serve Pastor Monte, the pastoral staff, and you, the people of Faith Baptist Church, these past 7-1/2 years. It is bittersweet to be leaving such a wonderful pastor, staff, and friends. Your notes, phone calls, and visits to my office have given me great joy and satisfaction of service. May God’s richest blessing be upon you and the ministries of Faith Baptist Church. Sincerely, Peggy Stover 317-662-7533

The incredibly cold, Mongolian winter has definitely deepened our appreciation of spring! This Resurrection season breathes with new life and reminds us of what it means to be “in Christ…old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” We greatly appreciate your prayers for Dauvaa and Maya as we meet in their home to study the Word with them, their parents and children. Looking at the foundations of the faith together, they can see the Scriptures unfold and answer the critical questions about the Bible, God, man, sin, and the law as we lead them to understand the significance of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They are very open, despite their strong ties to the deeply rooted traditions of their ancestors. Please continue to intercede on their behalf for the salvation of their entire household. Pray for us as we look to the Lord for wisdom, work to win their souls for Christ and rely on His Spirit to draw them to the Father. There was standing room only at the back of the new church building at our special Easter service with several adult visitors and over a hundred children and teens. The move into town is bringing in new faces to our Friday and Saturday youth meetings and Sunday services. We are trusting the Lord to greatly impact our village as more and more people are exposed to the saving power of the gospel.
