Community Connections “Powering up business throughout Martin County”
Inside This Issue Page 2 - Economic Development and Collaborative Efforts
The Chamber offers a variety of networking events throughout the year that provide members the opportunity to build relationships and stay connected with others in the local business community. No matter the size or nature of your business; networking plays a significant role in keeping your company visible in a relationship-based business climate. And remember, since Chamber membership extends to your entire organization, all of your employees are encouraged and invited to participate in any of our events! We encourage members to bring business cards to pass out and to collect. LEADSPlus! is comprised of local business people who share a simple belief – that they can be more successful together than on their own. Through leads, referrals,
sharing of best practices and encouraging each other common experiences, each group builds a network of trust and confidence that helps its members thrive. This group is limited to one member from each business category. The next meeting is 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16th at Center for Specialty Care. The Ambassadors Committee acts as a goodwill arm of the Chamber, representing the Chamber at all ground breakings, ribbon cuttings and grand openings; assist with annual Pork Masters Golf Outing; assist with Membership Drives; and continue contact with all Chamber members encouraging them to become active in the Chamber. Ambassadors meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Chamber.
