In an effort to strengthen our community relations, to reconnect with the Deaf community and our founding values, as well as celebrate the rich cultural traditions of our collective gatherings, we invite Deaf community members, hearing, coda and Deaf interpreters to join us, free of charge, in the first Michigan Community Forum As shared gathering places for our interpreting and Deaf community have disappeared, so too has the opportunity to share with each other ideas and inspirations for the future. This forum provides us with an opportunity to engage with Deaf community members and interpreters through panel discussions and small group discussions. In this Community Forum we offer a place to rejoin, revisit and re-imagine the work our communities do to make a better place for all of us.

Dates and Location TBA - watch for more information.
