Luiz Augusto Cassanha Galvão –

Dr. Galvão, a Brazilian, holds a medical degree at the “Faculdade de Medicina do ABC” in São Paulo, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health specialized in environmental epidemiology, from the Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública of FIOCRUZ. He became Coordinator of the Center for Studies on Workers’ Health and Human Ecology (CESTEH) after then he joined PAHO as Environmental Epidemiologist in charge environmental quality. Currently he is the Area Manager for Sustainable Development and Environmental Health at PAHOs Headquarters in Washington DC being responsible for public health risks and determinants, health promotion, consumer’s health, human security and Millennium Development Goals.
Mario M. Bracco –

Mario M.Bracco is pediatrician, with specialties in pediatric nutrition, physical activity and health promotion. Currently, serves as physician of governmental programs at Albert Einstein Social Responsibility Institute, working at the Health Family Strategy in primary care units, in southern zone of São Paulo City , and with social control of Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). He is also scientific advisor of The Agita São Paulo Program, a comprehensive intervention of physical activity promotion in São Paulo State and coordinates the health working group of the Our São Paulo Network, developing Sustainable Cities Programme.
Jo Ivey Boufford –

Dr. Boufford is the President of The New York Academy of Medicine, Professor of Public Service, Health Policy and Management at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine. Prior to coming to Wagner, Dr. Boufford served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and as Acting Assistance Secretary. She also have worked in the WHO, in the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, and on the Executive Council and Board on Global Health.
