The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) also plays a vital role in Atlantic City’s energy efficiency efforts. Located at ACUA, the Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farms have saved ACUA more than $6.1 million in energy costs and have prevented more than 62,000 metric tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere since its opening.
